Sincere thanks
to our tiny village which raised €20,000 from various events culminating with the family day. There are 39 members of the Galway station, who give their time for free to save lives. The money raised is used to service equipment and the training of members.

Tracht 2015
The Community Council are currently planning a new edition of the Community magazine, Tracht, which was last published in 2008. The aim of Tracht is to create a snapshot of community life in Kinvara. The editorial team are currently seeking articles from the community for publication consideration. All thoughts, suggestions & enquiries can be sent to kcc.tracht@gmail.com or directly to any member of the Community Council.

Attention All Parents
Do you have a child interested in singing or being part of a choir? If so, maybe the Kinvara Parish Youth Choir is the activity for them. The choir is open to boys and girls from 4th Class up to Leaving Cert. Practice takes place 7-8pm on Wednesdays in the Parish Centre (beside St.Joseph’s Church) If you would like to know more, please text Maeve on 087-6685775.

Loose change / coppers
Anyone who wishes to donate their loose change / coppers to a worthy cause can do so towards the end of Nov. A collection will be organised and proceeds will go to St. Vincent de Paul and Trocaire.
